All trademarks reproduced in this website, not owned by, or licensed to us, are acknowledged.

- External Links

- Governing Law
Your use of this website and any disputes arising from such, or from subsequent treatment within the clinic, are subject to the laws of England and Wales.
- Treatment Bookings
All treatments are subject to an assessment by our practitioners to determine suitability. You may be declined a treatment if your practitioner does not believe that a treatment is in your best interests. In these circumstances you would still pay a deposit for a consultation fee that is non-refundable.
Offers, gifts, and discounts are subject to availability and practitioner assessment.
Treatment courses must be paid in full before commencement and used within 12 months unless a medical extension is granted.
We maintain a no-refund policy on all treatments and products.
If you are under 25, you may be asked to provide a method of identification, such as a passport or driving licence, since we are unable to treat patients for cosmetic reasons under 18 years of age.
- Deposits
A minimum deposit of £50 is required for booking appointments, this is a consultation fee that can be deducted from the treatment or product cost. Booking fees of £2 are strictly non-refundable.
To avoid forfeiture of your deposit, we require 48 hours’ notice for any appointment changes or cancellations, managed via our booking portal or via email at info@drpaulelgey.com.
BUT if you give us 2 weeks notice prior to your attendance, and the appointment slot is moved to within 2 weeks of the original slot, we will transfer to another date convenient to you if diary space allows. If we don’t have the diary space, then the appointment will not be able to be moved.
Being more than 15 minutes late may result in the inability to accommodate your appointment to ensure the smooth running of our services.
- Treatment on the Day of Appointment
Treatment on the day of your appointment is not guaranteed due to various potential issues, such as:
- Previous overfilled lips or poorly placed filler
- Incompatible fillers
- Medication conflicts
- Blood or nerve supply concerns
- Scar tissue in the treatment area
- Allergies
- Anatomical variations
- Use of immunosuppressants
- Ongoing medical conditions
- Herpetic virus, and more
A qualified aesthetics doctor needs to assess your condition in person to determine the appropriate treatment plan and ensure the desired outcome.
- What If I Am Getting Married or Planning to Attend a Major Event?
Procedures can cause significant swelling, redness, and tenderness for up to 14 days.
Some patients may experience significant bruising and other side effects, usually resolving within 2 weeks.
Over-the-counter painkillers may be needed for pain management.
Therefore, we will not perform any procedures within 8 weeks of major personal events, such as weddings.
- What If I Suffer From Cold Sores?
We advise asking your GP for Acyclovir to prevent a breakout before treatment.
We provide medication after treatment to prevent triggers if you have the herpes virus.
We cannot guarantee against breakouts, but prescription antivirals are very effective.
If you have an active sore on the day of your appointment, you can attend for a consultation, but treatment will not proceed.
The booking fee will be used for the consultation and cannot be transferred to a future booking. If you do not attend, the booking fee is forfeit per our policy.
- A Word of Caution for Traveling Clients
We are not liable for travel expenses if you cannot be seen on time, receive treatment, or if we must cancel a clinic date.
Allow extra time in your travel plans as clinics may run late.
We recommend travel insurance in case a clinic is cancelled.
We do not reimburse for any travel or missed work expenses.
- Respect for Your Time
We strive to see patients on schedule every day.
Occasionally, delays occur due to emergencies or other patients’ issues.
Late arrivals can also cause significant delays.
For timely appointments, consider booking early morning slots and avoid scheduling other commitments immediately after.
Reception staff are not part of our clinic and cannot assist with booking issues, but the doctor will see you as soon as possible.
Refunds will not be given for delayed appointments because of other commitments, please allow for this when booking your appointment.
- Review Appointments
Botulinum Toxin
We offer routine review appointments following first-time treatment with Botulinum toxin type A (Botox®). Except in exceptional circumstances, these appointments will not be offered sooner than 14 days (two weeks) from the date of initial treatment and must be completed by 28 days (4 weeks). After this time, no “top-up” treatment will be administered.
For medical procedures using Botulinum toxin type A (Botox®) in the Masseter muscle, medical review appointments will not be offered sooner than 28 days (4 weeks) following the procedure appointment, except in exceptional circumstances, and must be completed within 35 days (5 weeks) from the procedure appointment. After this time, no “top-up” treatment will be administered.
Failure to attend a medical review appointment within the specified timeframes may result in the practitioners being unable to review the previously undertaken medical procedures. These timeframes are established based on current medical evidence and are primarily for patient safety.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal filler review appointments are typically arranged no less than six weeks after the initial treatment. This timeframe allows for the resolution of any swelling or bruising and for the dermal filler product to settle. It’s essential to recognise that many dermal filler procedures are carried out progressively to achieve a natural appearance while minimising the amount of product used.
